Attendance
Please send in a note after every absence. If you do not send in a note, your child's absence will be considered unexcused.
Please call the office to notify them if you will be picking up your child's homework or if it needs to be sent home with a sibling or neighbor.
Please let the nurse know of any present or new medical conditions or changes in medication.
When calling out sick, make sure you call the Primary School Office.
RESPONSIVE CLASSROOM
This year will be my second year implementing the Responsive Classroom Approach. A Responsive Classroom encompasses the social, emotional and academic learning. We will build a classroom community that fosters personal connections, relationships and interactive learning. Students will be rewarded by positive teacher feedback to develop their own intrinsic motivation. Logical consequences (You break it, you fix it, Loss of Privilege and Positive Time out) will occur when classroom rules are not followed.
